Beth Ehlers, CLP, Executive Director

Beth became the Executive Director for the Presbyterian Camp on Okoboji in December of 2010.  Originally from Mason City, Iowa, Beth comes to the Camp with a variety of skills and a passion for the Camp and its ministry.  For twelve years, Beth served as the Director of Christian Education at First Presbyterian Church in Mason City.  While there, Beth completed the Lay Academy and is Commissioned as a Lay Pastor at the Camp.  She has co-directed the Half MAD/Summer Musical Camp for 8 years.  Prior to working at the church, Beth was the Administrator for a 4 provider medical practice in Mason City.  Following college, Beth worked as a Residence Director at Rockford College in Rockford, Illinois.  Beth has a B.A. in Administrative Management and an M.E. in College Personnel Administration.

Beth believes that Camp is a great place to learn, discover, or be reminded of what it means to be Christ’s follower.  Camp is a great place to do this because the distractions of our everyday life are not present.  It is then that we can experience the presence of God so that when we return to our busy-ness, we can still recognize God in our everyday lives.

Sharma makes her home in Spirit Lake with her husband Keith, and 2 daughters, Mikayla and Katelyn.  She is no stranger to the camp.  Her girls have attended camp here for over 13 yrs.  She has worked in several office jobs.  She has gained experience in organization, hospitality, and customer service.  Her passion is working with people.  She enjoys the challenge and the joy camp ministry has to offer.

When she has spare time, Sharma likes to spend it with family, walking, or  watching any of the sporting events in which the girls are involved  She is involved in her church and various other community activities.
